MODULAR OR TRADITIONAL?

Modular housing has for a long time been the goal of many a modular building company here in the UK, many have tried but how many have succeeded??? Is modular housing going to be the strong hold of social housing where speed and repeatability are driving factors or can the modular solution be taken into starter homes where cost would play major factor.
